Alright, so I'm trying to reinstall World of Warcraft. But every time I get to disc 3 it gives me an error about the Installer Tome file. Now I went to the WoW Tech support forums and they suggest trying to copy it to your HD and run the installer from there. Problem is whenever I try to copy/explore it, it freezes up. So I do a little more looking, and everyone is saying that its bad memory. Hmm. Makes sense I guess, but wtf. Memory doesnt just GO bad. And its quite odd that so many people are having this problem after uninstalling WoW then trying to reinstall it. Is it possible that WoW corrupts memory when being uninstalled? Any one actually have a successful re-install of WoW? So now I gotta get my hands on an ISO to use... fucking great.

There are two things that I suggest you do:

First, run a memory checker. There are plenty of free ones out there if you look.

Second, you can always install the game on another PC and copy the install directory over. The good folks at Blizzard designed the game to work this way.
