So this is my first post from my new place in New Hampshire. It's not as weird as I thought it would be, but neither did the move to the Florida 4 or 5 years ago. Nothing special going on as I don't have my license back just yet. That should be fixed soon and I've got a Volvo here that I'll be able to use whenever I want. The place is nice with a great view (minus the new subdivision being built down the hill). The view from my bedroom is close to what I posted from the kitchen ( ). My step-mom is understanding of my anxiety and what I want while I'm here (space and privacy), and my dad isn't as pushy as I thought he would be. So..... so far so good, we'll see how everything evolves. My plan (if everything goes perfect) is go to school here for 1-2 years and then transfer to either U of M, CMU (Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh where my sister graduated this past weekend), or a university in Florida. In the end, I want to end back up in Florida. I feel like it's my home and it's where I belong. The hardest part is going to be keeping myself motivated and focused on school. Something I haven't been able to do in my entire academic career.

After photo time. Angle and lighting is shit but it gives you atleast a decent idea of how it's healing. On the up side, when I walk down the street, I hold my head up high and pretend the scars I've gotten are from a knife fight. People respect scars.... they don't even need to know where they're from... they just know not screw with you.

Anyone wanna buy a golf club (includes alot of balls) set thats missing a Driver (includes 3-9irons, 3 and 5 woods, pitching wedge, and an extending ball retriever)? No real way to get ship it since I don't have a case for it. Also have a couple paintball guns that need some fixing if anyone is looking for a project. Long time since I posted on LJ. Currently getting ready to move to New Hampshire. Not exactly what I'd like to do, but it's an opportunity I can't pass up. In other news, got stitches a couple weeks ago on my face because I'm a fucking idiot. Got them removed almost a week ago and am quite pleased with the way they're healing. The lip is almost invisible while the cheek is taking it's sweet time. Will probably have another scar in both locations, just a matter of how obvious they are. Before and after pics to be posted shortly.
My place in NH will be in the middle of no-where but the scenary will be nice for the most part. Will have to find some way to pass the time as NH isn't exactly the most happening of places. The NH furry communiy isn't all that active but maybe thats for the better as I think I'm growing out of it. No interest in cons anymore. I see alot of trips to Boston in my future :P.

3 stitches on my right cheek, and 4 on my chin/lip slightly to the left of my soulpatch (hard to see).
After pics coming tomorrow when I take off the bandages.

My cousin was a medic for the Navy (AKA, followed the marines around). Either way, I've been interested in the wars since, and I came across a good documentary that didn't pull the normal Left/Right shit. This is straight up from the soldiers view. No skew, no spin, no bull. I suggest checking it out. It's called "Restrepo", go take a look.

Here is the deal.....
You shove a girl around. I'm going to lay down, PERIOD. This happened tonight... my first fight of my life. Some fucking teenager decided it was cool to push a girl around and I objected. I told him "fuck you", he asked me to repeat and I did. He threw a right punch, and we went to the ground. I got some shots in, and before I knew it, it was broken, up. However, after it was over my hands and face were covered in, i assume, my own blood. I had a bloody nose, a few scratches on my arms, and a bit lip. Then they were complaining I would call the cops? Really!? A fight is a fight, I'm not gonna cal the cops on a fight.

As the end of my unemployement looms, my anxiety and depression get worse. Found out today from my roommate that an extension is on the block for passing. I researched it and indeed there is a Tier 5 introduced. It would give 20 extra weeks to those who have exhausted benefits (99'ers as their called, as they've hit 99 weeks unemployement......which is weird because I'm no where near that many but I'm still going to be out of unemployement). Not only would it extend the unemployement it would give tax cuts to the businesses that hire new workers looking for work. Hopefully it passes, but I'm not holding my breath as it's currently in limbo about funding.
EDIT: Doing more research and apparently there have been a couple bills like this...however they aren't getting priority because there is the "Dream Act" that the senate is talking about. It would give conditional permanent citizen status to illegals who meet the criteria. Seriously? You're going to prioritize illegals over people that have worked, paid into unemployment, and now are fucked? Common.
